Looking at ‘Charnwood House’ completed back in 2006. This was one of the first Janes Architectural replacement dwellings within the Four Oaks Conservation Area and replaced an existing 1950’s house. The design of the new house took inspiration from the Arts & Crafts era houses of Sir Edwin Lutyens, in particular his early houses of the 1890’s. With external detail and materials honest to a bygone era but built to modern standards in all other respects.
We have since completed a further three new build luxury replacement homes on the same street, along with major extensions to six existing homes.
The seventh major refurbishment, this time of a 1980's home, is commencing on site this week!
